About this work
Send I come here less out of hunger than for an audience. What matters is to open my mouth wide, strike a pose, and make it clear who commands the scene. Those around me look on with that perfect mix of surprise, laughter, and a twinge of desire that the algorithm loves so much. They are not thinking about trying anything; rather, they are contemplating what it would be like to occupy my place in the photo that someone, somewhere, is already imagining posting. In the end, this isn’t about eating; it’s about proving that I can. Exaggerating the gesture, turning a trivial moment into a spectacle, generating envy live. If no one records it, memory will share it; if someone posts it, the world will share it. And so we continue: one flaunts, others desire, and everyone competes to frame themselves better… who is really feeding off whom in this small jungle of imaginary likes?
