Under the Sea

About this work

Under the Sea I descended in search of calm, a blue postcard to disconnect from the world above. I was welcomed by the perfect colors of a tropical dream: flashes, sparkles, whimsical shapes floating around me as if someone had designed this journey with me in mind. It takes me a while to understand that this chromatic celebration is not a miracle of life, but the polished echo of many hurried lives, of hands that let go of things and continued on their way. I pose, breathe through the tube, and enjoy the spectacle as if it were a luxury, while a part of me wonders at what moment we began to call “paradise” a place that shines thanks to what should never have arrived here.
