The Feast
About this work
"The Feast" begins with a scene that appears tender: a cat awarded as "Citizen of the Year," surrounded by mice who celebrate it with affectionate, almost sweet gestures. But upon closer inspection, those charming little mice are not there to admire it… they are devouring it. This festive and colorful tone conceals a critique of how the system—aligned with political elites—rewards and entertains us while gradually consuming us, often without us even noticing. While they place medals on us, they will suck us dry like a lollipop until only the stick remains.
